so today an advance copy of Grizzly Bear's new album Veckatimest fell *cough* cough* into my lap *cough* ... i'm going to make an early call on this one and go ahead and predict that its going to be a 9/10 album of the year type of ordeal. So far a few things i'm noticing that bode well, vast arrangements of sound, straightforward with a gentle approach, offbeat and epic rock anthems that soar, dip, and drive.
... those are some of choices I might put into my pool if I were trying to make a list of adjectives that could be used to describe this album. Upon initial review only. I'll probably have something different to add. Check back in 24hrs.

also according to this I totally lucked out in terms of timing? weird. though it wasn't completely random. I was poking around p4k and found this song to be kind of aweseome. Thus my reason for trying to check out more. Man
