The yahoo sports hockey blog jake slips this fucking hella naive comment in that article about buffalo ... its pretty entertaining to see the sabs fans support their shit in the comments ... buffalo for the most part is a shit hole, but the people are incredibly resilient and proud, and in spite of everything I have great respect for that city. And perhaps that is part of the reason I converted to a buffalo city sports fan ... everyone loves the underdog.

ha! interesting find. I most certainly echo the sentiments of most of the posters. As I was one of the many, fucking partying hard outside HSBC, I can attest that despite Buffalo's dysphoric sadness, we can sell out a stadium in seconds.
ReplyDeletetotally ... i'm feeling like the sabs are going to make it to the playoffs as a low seed this season (no jinxy's!!). So it'll be good to look back at this when they come in as the 8 seed and fucking sell the shit out of HSBC. Looking forward to doing my part in partying outside the arena this year as well.
