i think i NEED to go to bonnaroo this year. Personally I'm really not that stoked about any of the headliners. But I was thinking that this will actually work to my advantage.
At lolla i wanted to see the headliners so bad. But with that I kind of had some expectations about "seeing" a band. The problem being at a festival with 250k other people most of which want to go see the headliners as well. As you can imagine its not exactly a initimate setting.
This works for me that the boss and phish are playing because it won't be that big of a deal if i am seated like 8 miles away, and hanging out with the drum circle kids. Plus after a day of fucking absolute shit house rocking out ... it might be nice to just chill at the end.
Anyways, I want to go to bonnaroo now. I'm officially on board for that deal. I only need one other person to say yes, and tickets will be purchased
